CoDaTherapeutics (NZ) Ltd (CoDaNZ) is a New Zealand based biopharmaceutical company that is focused on the development and commercialisation of therapeutics for wound and tissue repair that are based on the new platform technology called “Gap Junction Modulation”. This technology which, temporarily down-regulates cell to cell communication, has been shown to accelerate the healing process.
CoDaNZ’s focus is on the rapid clinical development of its pipeline of products. The company works in parallel with its US sister company, CoDaTherapeutics, Inc. (CoDaUS), which is responsible for drug product manufacture, financing, marketing and business development.
The company’s first drug product candidate, which is entering human clinical trials in 2008, is called Nexagon™.
